Actor Jamie Foxx Faces Sexual Assault and Battery Charges in Lawsuit

In this case, Foxx is being sued by a woman who alleges that he intentionally and without consent used force to offensively touch her person in 2015 at Catch NYC, a popular New York City restaurant.

The complaint states that Foxx seemed 'intoxicated' at the time of the incident and that the woman suffered and continues to suffer physical and emotional injuries, anxiety, distress, embarrassment, and economic harm. The lawsuit is seeking an unspecified amount for damages.

A spokesperson for Foxx has denied the allegations, stating that the alleged incident never happened. However, this is not the first time that Foxx has faced similar allegations. In 2020, he was sued by the same individual for nearly identical claims, but the case was dismissed shortly thereafter.

The plaintiff, identified as Jane Doe, is seeking compensation for her alleged injuries and is pursuing a claim for malicious prosecution against Foxx and his attorneys for re-filing this frivolous action.
